Kairy Koshoeva Wins International Competition

Updated: Jan 7, 2021

Dr. Kairy Koshoeva recently received first prize in the piano solo category in Musica Classica: Second International Video Competition in Russia. Dr. Koshoeva submitted video recordings of live, unedited performances of Liszt’s Spanish Rhapsody, arrangements of Kyrgyz songs by A. Ogombaev, and a transcription of “Mash Botoi” by her teacher, M. Burshtin. We have heard Dr. Koshoeva perform these pieces, and agree that her award is well-deserved. Please take a moment to view her prize-winning videos. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!
